**Apologies for cross-posting**

Dear All,

UPD has funding for several representatives of civil society
and academia to attend the next TPPA negotiating round which
will be held in San Diego, CA from 2-10 July 2012.
The grant will be used to support representatives working on
access to knowledge and access to medicines issues.

Selection criteria for the awards of these funds will
be based on the following:
* Geographic diversity and representation, with
preference given to representatives from countries that
are current negotiating or prospective TPPA membership
* Area of expertise/substantive knowledge of the
applicant
* Proven track record on issues covered by the TPPA
* Potential influence of the applicant

If you would like to apply for a travel grant for the
Texas round, please send an e-mail to <krista.cox@keionline.org>

with a proposed budget who will forward your information
to the UPDselection committee.

**Given the fast approaching round, including deadline
for registration, applicants are are encouraged to send
their applications ASAP**

Given the size of the travel grant and the number of
meetings, UPD will undoubtedly not be able to fund
all of the applications.
