Volunteers needed for member expert group

Consumers International is about to move into a new strategic phase
for 2012-2014, and part of this involves getting members more
closely involved in overseeing our programmes and contributing their
expertise.  This will be done through an "expert group" that will be
attached to every programme.  In fact, the A2K programme was
something of a model for this, as we have had an expert advisory
group from the outset - though it was comprised of more external
experts than members - and we have recently established a similar
group for the broadband project.

For 2012 and beyond, we will consolidate these into a new expert
group of members covering the whole of the communications programme
(aka. Consumers in the Digital Age, which incorporates our work on
A2K, broadband, etc).  Your time commitment will be minimal: mainly
assisting the project coordinator with feedback and advice,
suggesting new activities, discussing plans and positions, etc.

If you are interested in volunteering for this group, and your
organisation is a CI member, please write to me privately.  Thanks!
